The course consists of nine holes made up of 3 par 3's, 3 par 4's and 3 par 5's, with all holes having alternate tees. The par 72 layout has a Rating of 70 for Men and 71 for Ladies. Distance markers are provided at 50m, 100m and 150m from the centre of each green.
Although not long (Men - 5,224 m, Ladies - 4,810 m), the course is very challenging with narrow fairways, small greens and plenty of 'no go' zones (Slope Rating for Men is 127 and 125 for Women). Course management takes priority over power play and shots are often dictated by the ball's lie.
NOTE: All Prices are displayed on the club's Notice Board or contact the Club Secretary for further information. We have installed a Vendi credit card debit machine that is available to pay for green fees and overnight stays (a transaction fee applies). EFTPOS is also available if a committee person is present, or cash payment is still accepted.
Competition days are on Sunday for Men and Ladies for a Medley Comp, hit off from 11.00 am. A 9-hole competition is available during daylight saving time from Monday to Wednesday, all day (see guidelines on the Notice Board).
The Ladies Roster runs from February to October with hit-off at 9.30 am on Tuesdays. (See Calendar)
Note: The Sunday competition pauses for the winter months, but the course remains open for social play.
The greens are Bentgrass and Creeping Red Fescue, with coring taking place in late August as Spring growth begins. Fairways contain good winter grass through to January, when the run increases as the ground hardens. Due to the course's location, heavy morning dew helps maintain grass cover through most summers, with the best coverage from mid-September through to late January.
